Our Background
Philadelphia Christian Center Academy strives to meet the educational
needs
of your child in a Christian environment.
We use curriculum
that is widely accepted as high-quality
and challenging. We accept
enrollment for
Kindergarten thru
8th Grade regardless of religious or
cultural background. |

Christian Perspective
Every day we will begin with Prayer,
Bible reading, and Bible lesson.
Class Size
Our goal for your child is that they receive a high quality, affordable
education
in a small class setting. Traditional
public schools will
enroll 20-25 per class.
This is higher than
the ratio that we believe is
beneficial for the student.

Curriculum
We have selected Abeka book as our curriculum. This
company is widely
used in Christian schools in the country.
They write biblically based
curriculum that gives a
Christian viewpoint in all of their subjects.
We also use Gospel Publishing House for our daily Bible
lessons because we cherish
the Pentecostal heritage
that is woven
throughout the curriculum.

Kindergarten
Our kindergarten is a full day session from 8:45 to 3:00 PM.
We teach
phonics, reading, and cursive
writing using
traditional methods. The
goal at this age is to have
children become
good readers
so that they can
excel in the rest of their schooling.
Uniforms
In order to promote unity, we require that all students be
dressed in a
school uniform that consists of a maroon
shirt and tan khaki pants or
tan skirt for
the girls. The
school can give you the ordering
information upon request.
